My Expression in the Journey to a Free Existence

MN Freeman: Who Am I and What am I Doing Here?

Originally from the Seattle, WA area and now based in Santa Fe, NM, I am a multi-disciplinary artist and musician exploring themes of Self, Reality, Humanity, Freedom, Life, and Existence. I write, record, and produce my own music and I'm currently exhibiting my  artwork at Freeman Gallery in Santa Fe.

Additionally, I enjoy writing blogs and making videos exploring the nature of self and reality, and how we can create a world that's best for all, in which we can be free from fear and suffering and cultivate full awareness of the nature of ourselves and existence Here.

Be Right Here

"Be Right Here". Little song I wrote, sounding my expression of wanting (all) to live here, without fear of loss or harm, without pretending, without hiding, in self honesty and honesty with each other, and without needing hope or fairy tales. Lyrics: I don’t want to fade away I don’t want to disappear I don’t want to be unreal I just want to be right here I don’t want to up and down I don’t want to spin around I don’t want to float away I’ll be right here on the ground I don’t want to have to hide From the things I am inside And I don’t want to have to fear Anything that is right here I don’t want to just pretend Just to be somebody’s friend I’ll be who I truly am Right here I will ever stand I don’t want to have to hope Just to feel like I can cope I would rather face it all though I know that I may fall I don’t want to make believe I don’t want to self deceive I don’t want a fairy tale I’ll be real and I’ll be free I don’t want to fade away I don’t want to disappear I don’t want to be unreal I just want to be right here I don’t want to up and down I don’t want to spin around I don’t want to float away I’ll be right here on the ground I don’t want to have to hope Just to feel like I can cope I would rather face it all though I know that I may fall I don’t want to make believe I don’t want to self deceive I don’t want a fairy tale I’ll be real and I’ll be free . Gift of Giving is the Seed of Living || original song 2/22/2022

Within the Gift of Giving There is the Seed of Living One Day we'll Give Together And then we'll see a World that's Free A little song that opened up when I decided to record a random vocal harmony that I came up with as I was singing in the kitchen. The expression of lightness and joy in the sound, to me represents the lightness and joy that would become possible for so many people if we decided to base our way of living, our system of living, on the principle of Giving - where we give everyone what they need for a dignified, comfortable, fear-free life - with the freedom of self discovery and self expression that opens up from that. If we want a society that flourishes and grows as a garden of expressions of life and living, then we need to plant the seeds for that to happen. An unconditional basic income would be a start - to level the playing field, 'water the seeds', and bring everyone up to a point where they have the support they need as a foundation to live a worthwhile life. Don't believe in the idea that that's somehow 'too complicated'. It's not. We'll figure it out. What's complicated is a system that relies on opinions and justifications as to why it's okay for people to go without their basic needs. What we need to is to start looking at the issues of poverty and lack, within the simplicity of Common Sense. ► Follow me: ● Instagram.com/mnfreemanarts ● Facebook.com/mnfreemanlife ► Gear: Roland FP10 Keyboard Pianoteq 7 Cubase 11 Pro Native Instruments Komplete 11
